Information

NGC 7635 is an Emission Nebula  located in the Constellation Cassiopeia. The bubble is approximately 10 light years across and the result of a massive star exerting pressure on the surrounding gas cloud resulting in an expanding "bubble" of hydrogen gas. The Hydrogen gas glows very dimly in the deep red end of the spectrum due to Ultraviolet ionization of the Hydrogen Molecules. Also located nearby but out of the field of view is the open star cluster M52, see sky map for location
